Peter Javorik

Was born in Žilina in 1982. Since 2016, he has been a lecturer at the Department of Visual Communication, Faculty of Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, and since 2022, he has held the title of professor. He teaches the courses Rudiments of Visual Communication and Visual Communication Design. He also leads a student research group titled 3.p. – Project / Process / Poster, which currently involves around 100 students. Over the past two years, more than 30 poster exhibitions have been organized as part of this initiative. He is the founder and head of the graphic design studio pidzej.com, which focuses on creating visual identities, maps, posters, and publications. He is also the organizer of the international event Poster Quadrennial Bardejov and is actively involved in organizing poster exhibitions. He has participated in more than 400 exhibitions worldwide and has received 30 awards and honorable mentions in various graphic design competitions.
