Nikodem Pręgowski

Nikodem Pręgowski (born 1981) is a graphic designer, illustrator, and poster and book designer. He teaches graphic design, basics of calligraphy and typography at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, where he runs a graduate studio. In 2020, he founded the publishing house “Na Przykład” (For Example) in Toruń. He has won numerous awards and distinctions in poster art, including the International Poster Biennale in Warsaw, the Poster Quadrennial in Bardejov, and the AMS Poster Gallery competition. His work has been shown at international exhibitions in over 20 countries. He writes articles and columns on the history of posters and graphic design. He enjoys looking at children’s books and loves culinary arts and home-grown edible plants.
