Natalia Volpe
Natalia Volpe (Argentina, 1973) is a graphic designer, a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism at the University of Buenos Aires (FADU-UBA), and holds a Master’s degree in Literature from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). She is currently the Director of the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design at the University of Flores (UFLO) in Buenos Aires, as well as a university professor.
Her professional and academic work focuses on the development of graphic, editorial, and artistic projects, with a strong commitment to the social poster as a critical and transformative tool. Many of her works directly challenge society and have been recognized and exhibited internationally, earning awards in countries such as Mexico, Spain, Poland, and France, among others.
Her distinctions include: First Prize for the poster “Thinking About Sustainability” (FINI, Mexico, 2024), First Prize for “Atra mirada” (Zaragoza Film Festival, Spain, 2022), the Special Jury Prize for “Queremos Jazz” (Poland, 2020), First Prize in “Escucha mi Voz” (Mexico, 2019), and First Prize at the CULTURAMÉRICA Festival (France, 2016).
She has exhibited her work in prominent venues and international events, including “A Way of Seeing the World” at the International Design Biennial of Saint-Étienne, France (2022); “¡URGE!” at the Matta Cultural Center, Argentina (2022); and “Natalia Volpe Manifesti” at the Cartacanta Festival, Civitanova Marche, Italy (2021).
Volpe has also served as a juror in major poster competitions and biennials, such as BICeBé (Bolivia), Cartel de Uruguay, Ecocartel Golden Turtle, Ecuador Poster Biennial, Listen to My Voice, and Gráfica Madrid, among others.
She is a founding member of the Onaire Graphic Collective, where she develops and applies a collaborative working method known as Guiso Gráfico (Graphic Stew). She also actively collaborates with the Andar de Nones Collective, with whom she creates posters that promote art, social inclusion, and collaborative networks.
Volpe regularly participates in exhibitions, workshops, and conferences around the world, building a career that blends artistic sensitivity, social commitment, and educational vocation.
