Christopher Scott
Professor of Graphic Design / Iowa State University
President of the United States International Poster Biennial
Christopher Scott is an internationally recognized, award-winning graphic designer from Northern Ireland. He earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Design from the University of Ulster, Magee. His work is concept-driven, with a focus on strong, human-centered messages that reflect social and cultural relevance.
Scott has received over 300 international awards and has been honored by organizations such as WWF, Amnesty International, Adobe, Poster For Tomorrow, Designboom, the Golden Bee Global Biennale of Graphic Design, and the International Poster Biennale in Warsaw. He was awarded a silver medal at the International Design Awards and has received three Gold Awards from the prestigious Graphis in the United States.
His work has been exhibited in major museums and galleries across the globe, including an exhibition at the Louvre in Paris. He has served as a jury member for numerous international competitions and has delivered lectures and workshops in China, the United States, Argentina, Ecuador, Indonesia, Venezuela, Mexico, Northern Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, and more.
Currently, he is a Professor of Graphic Design at Iowa State University. He also serves as an Invited Professor at the University of Kragujevac in Serbia and Capital Normal University in China. He is the Ex-President and Founder of the Ecuador Poster Bienal and the President and Co-Founder of the United States International Poster Biennial.
