Agnieszka Srokosz

Graduate of the Faculty of Painting and Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk.

From 2008 to 2018, she was a lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey.

Currently, she teaches at the Faculty of Architecture, Engineering, and Art at the Sopot Academy of Applied Sciences.

Two-time recipient of a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and a scholarship from the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague. She has won numerous painting competitions and festivals.

Since 2021, she has focused primarily on poster design, winning numerous awards and distinctions both nationally and internationally.

Major achievements:

Gold medal at the international “Satyrykon” competition in Legnica (2025), 1st prize in the poster competition for the “Ulicznicy” festival in Gliwice (2025), honorary mention in the “Translacore” category at the 7th International Poster Biennale in Lublin (2025), 1st prize for a poster in the international “Made in Canada” competition in Indonesia, 1st prize for a poster at festivals in Łomża (“Walizka,” 2024) and Krakow (“City of Cracow,” 2023), Silver Medals in competitions in Turkey (“Life on land,” 2023) and Poland (“65 years of Totalizator Sportowy,” 2021), 1st prize in the “Sketch has power” competition in Legnica (2022).

Agnieszka Srokosz’s works have been presented at many prestigious international exhibitions, including the United States Poster Biennale and Triennale (USIP), Ukraine (4th Block), Belgium (“Ecocide/Reimagine Humanity”), Lublin (International Poster Biennale), the USA (“10 Degrees Cooler”), Los Angeles (LA Design Festival: Design Futurism), Indonesia (Design For Change International Poster Exhibition), Legnica (Satyrykon International Exhibition), Switzerland, Mexico (PLASTER Graphic Design Festival), Bolivia (BICeBé 2025), Turkey (“Seeing invisible”), China (“Yangtze River – Future” and “Zodiac, Year of the Snake”), Estonia (Haapsalu Graphic Design Festival), Poznań (POSTHER), Iraq (“Fabric of family”), Toruń (“80 posters for the 80th anniversary”), in Japan (VIDAK K_Identity International exchange exhibition), in Panama (“City and Soul”), in Budapest (PosterFest 4) and Slovakia (Contemporary Polish poster part II).
